Abstract

The paper presents the techniques used for optimizing large assemblies and their subassemblies respectively, of a deep soil tillage machinery. It outlines the main issues of an optimization studies, the results of these studies, and conclusions in order to improve the results. For a better understanding, the structure of a complex agricultural machine, the deep soil tillage machinery for soil cultivation will be analyzed, whose performance will improve on due to optimizing sub-assemblies and synergic as a whole. It is shown that in general the optimal problem should be viewed in a broad sense, i.e. accepting the optimal points even if they are on the border of the range of optimization parameters considered. It also is shows how complex parameters-restrictions combinations can be introduced to form objective functions that transform optimal border points into optimal points in the strict sense (extreme of objective functions, located strictly within the range of optimization parameters). The possible advantages of using the results of the optimal methods presented are highlighted.
