Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

The submission will have two phases:

1 - submission of an extended abstract;

2 - submission of the final paper.

Both the abstract and the final paper will be peer-reviewed. All the information needed to write the paper can be found in “Author Guidelines”.

1 - Submitting the abstract

The abstract should be submitted online, using the online submission system. Additional files may be uploaded (also using using the online submission system), but are not mandatory.

The abstract must contain the following information:

-  Proposed title;

-  Name, affiliation and contact details of the author and coauthors;

-  Keywords;

-  Objectives;

-  Methodology;

-  Expected results;

-  Limitations of the proposed study;

-  Novelty of the paper;

-  Conclusions.

 

NOTE: The abstract should not exceed 1000 words.

Based on the abstract, the scientific committee will decide to invite the author to submit the final paper, or not.

 

2 - Submitting the final paper

The proceedings of AMMA2018 will be published by Springer in a special issue. Therefore, the authors must prepare their papers according to the journal guidelines and templates which can be found here.

The accepted format is Microsoft Word (doc or docx).

Quick Start Guide

Preferred length of paper: 6-8 pages (NOTE: a paper should not exceed 8 pages).

Language: American English.

 

3 – Paper presentation

For the presentation of the papers we recommend using the AMMA 2018 templates. These can be found here:

For presentations in any of the rooms you can use this template (4:3 format).

 

Consent to publish

For each paper, the corresponding author should download, sign and upload the Consent to Publish. Please upload the signed file as a supplementary file, when submitting your final paper.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

1. The paper has not been previously published, nor was it sent to another conference for consideration.
   
   NOTE: If parts of the paper were already presented at another conference an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director.
2. The submission file is in the accepted format (Microsoft Word - doc or docx).
3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., www.amma2018.ro) are activated and ready to click.
4. The text complies to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.

Copyright Notice

The accepted papers which will fulfill the Springer requirements will be included in a volume published with Springer Verlag. The authors must grant to Springer specific permission to publish the work. For that, the author must download, fill and sign in the Consent to Publish document, then upload the signed document as supplementary file for each submitted paper. If the paper contains any pictures, tables or results taken from the work of others, the author should obtain the written permission from the author of the respective paper, using the permission request form.
